Alright so i just wanted to give a little update. Yes, i fixed the problem. Now what i did was uninstall steam. Now here's the key part. Before hand i had steam installed under my program files (x86) folder. Little did i know that this was the main issue. When i re-installed steam, instead of using the default folder it suggests, I saved my steam folder as C:\games (or you can name it whatever folder you want). The important part is that it is NOT in your program files folder, but it is a completely separate folder all by itself. Then i set the amnesia.exe launcher and amnesia.exe files so that they will always be set to run as administrator. For some reason this completely fixed my problem, and i just want you guys to know that if any one has a steam version of the game to uninstall steam, reinstall it and make sure to rename the steam folder so that it is its own folder not contained in any other folders. I appreciate all your help guys and i just wanted to pass this info on!
